
Nikelle Collins, LMSW
Nikelle is a Licensed Masters Social Worker who has an interest in working with children, adolescents, and adults at NICMH. Her background is in Psychology before focusing on social work. Nikelle is the Community Based Rehabilitation Services Program Manager and has had extensive experience working as a CBRS for nearly a decade prior to furthering her education. Nikelle has experience working with children and individuals with significant mental health and neurodevelopmental difficulties including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Schizophrenia, and substance use disorders. Nikelle is certified as an Autism Informed Professional, certified in DBT, and has had training in Play Therapy, CBT, and TBRI modalities. Using an integrative approach, Nikelle focuses on utilizing strengths of the individual to empower them to create the life they want through skill building, education, behavior modification, mindfulness, and a strong therapeutic partnership for a more fulfilling and functional future.
